Training Team

This team is a great place for newer volleyball players looking to take the next step up from rec/gym volleyball. Players will work to develop volleyball skills, learn volleyball concepts, rules, etc.. 

SLVC has provided Training Team opportunities for many years and have found that new players who develop a strong base of skills *prior to participating in tournaments (which can be chaotic and add pressure) have more long-term success and stick with this amazing sport...and that's what SLVC is all about!

Includes: 3 hrs a week (Two 90 min session/week) & Training Uniform Package

Training Team players can be coed.

*Training Team players will not participate in tournaments. 

Club Teams

SLVC Club Teams are competitive teams that participate in practices and local AAU tournaments in the Club or Premier divisions. These players must have a solid base set of skills and are ready to be pushed both in practices and in tournaments.

SLVC Coaches will motivate players in practice to prepare both physically and mentally for competition. Players thrive on these teams when they come prepared to be open to coaching, trying new and different skills/techniques, and support their teammates both on and off the court. These are all components of our SLVC Culture!

Includes: 4 hrs a week (Two 2 hr practices/week), 5 local AAU tournaments & Club Uniform Package

travel Teams

SLVC Open Teams are highly competitive teams that participate in practices and local AAU tournaments in the Open or Power division.  These players must have a strong base set of skills and are ready to be pushed both in practices and in tournaments. These teams will participate in 2-3 additional tournaments (local or close travel) for the season. 

Includes: 4 hrs a week (Two 2 hr practices/week), 7-8 AAU instate tournaments & Club Uniform Package
